Judging Freestyle

Freestyle kayaking consists of performing various maneuvers while surfing and riding waves/holes.

There are 3 types of score sheets, The Variety sheet is used to score the move you are doing on the hole or wave eg. Cartwheel, split wheel, loop, you can only score each move once per ride. The technical score sheet is used to score the amount of ends you do and at what angle (being a vertical cartwheel is score 4, a cartwheel between 45-70 degrees scores 2 and a flat spin is score 1) So if I go out and do 10 flats spins that would be 20 points. The final score sheet is used to add up the two scores as a multiplier. That is a really short way of explaining it, but if you read the rules you should understand how to use the judging sheets.
