the 1st Annual AWA Paddle Fest, a weekend of skills development,
recreational canoeing & kayaking and a laid back social time with
friends.
Technique
Sessions: freestyle, slalom and river running
instruction
Coordinated River Runs: beginner to advanced
River Safety Sessions: learn River Rescue and Trip
Leader basics
- All ages & all
ability levels welcome in KAYAKS, C1’S & OPEN CANOES
- Demo kayaks

Undercurrents
- Paddling kits
available for non-paddlers participating in the Learn to
Kayak clinics
- $100 for adults and $75 for youth under the age of 18. Includes industry leading instruction
- Reduced fee for
non-paddlers & children
- Camping Friday
and Saturday nights included
- BBQ dinner
Saturday and breakfast Sunday included
- Hiking,
horseback-riding and rafting nearby for non paddlers

Mukwah Tours, south west of Sundre, at the confluence of the

Participants
are required to fill out an AWA
waiver and medical form
and hand these in at the beginning of
the event. Participants under 18 years of age must have
their waiver and medical form signed by a parent/guardian. |
