LIPTOVSKY MIKULAS, SLOVAKIA – Brothers Cameron Smedley and Liam Smedley of Dunrobin, ON both ranked nineteenth in their respective C1 events and advanced to the semi-finals on the second day of competition at the ICF Canoe Slalom Junior and U23 World Championships in Liptovsky Mikulas, Slovakia.
Cameron Smedley posted a score of 109.36 in the Under 23 class while Liam Smedley posted 114.34 in Junior. Both will race semi-finals tomorrow along with Michael Tayler and Alexandra McGee who qualified yesterday in U23 K1 and U23 C1. Competition continues tomorrow through Sunday.
