Whitewater Canada

Whitewater Canada (WWC) is a national sport organization, which is part of Canoe Kayak Canada. WWC governs national and international competitions in freestyle, slalom, wild water (downriver), canoe polo, recreational instructor training, coach development, and provides river safety & rescue training.

WWC represents paddler's interests in government and commercial organizations when activities may affect the paddling environment. They also represent Canadian's interests at the International Canoe Federation that meets 2x/year around the world. WWC is comprised of a large base of volunteers across the country and a staffed office with Canoe Kayak Canada.

Provincial member associations include Whitewater Kayaking Association of BC, the Alberta Whitewater Association, the Whitewater Ontario, and the Fédération québecoise de canoë-kayak d'eau vive.

The organization continues to grow as does the support of whitewater. There is always some new design, new event, or new people on the block to keep us paddling.
