The AWA's Annual General Meeting is being held in the Conservation Room upstairs in the Basspro Sports Shop in Balzac just off Highway #2 north of Calgary.
In the morning we will be talking about
1. the operation of the Canoe Meadows campground from this summer,
2. Facility development and the rebuild projects on the Kananaskis River, Harvie Passage in Calgary, Boulder Run in Pincher Creek, Frank Slide Cascade in Crowsnest Pass and a Bow River channel in Canmore.Â
3. Club Development and how to strengthen club programs and activities
4. Leadership Development and what is happening with NCCP and CanoeKayak Canada's program
5. Changes to the Insurance program and an update on how this impacts the clubs.

In the afternoon we will have the formal meeting with the presentation of the Financial Statements and Reports and finish with the election of the new Board for 2015.
