Sundre Paddlefest 2019 & Women's WW Weekend

We have moved the Paddlefest to the Panther River Retreat with Sunset Guiding near the Mountaire Lodge and the confluence of the Panther and Red Deer Rivers. The Panther River Retreat is located 65 kms from Sundre on the Red Deer River Road. There are cabins, campground, showers and dining facilities on site.

And of course we will have all sorts of great paddling, good meals, excellent instruction and the chance to enjoy the upper Red Deer and Panther Rivers together. The meal package includes 2 hot breakfasts and 1 delicious roast  beef supper. 

Last year everyone was excited to be back at a full service facility and really enjoyed it after our several years of being "lost in the wilderness" roughing it along the river at Cache Hill.

It was sooo  GOOD that the Ladies have decided that they want to join us. So we are wrapping the Women's Whitewater Weekend into the Sundre Paddlefest . Camping and meals will be together but we will have special clinics for the ladies with some guest instructors just for them.   

Directions from Sundre, Alberta

Drive west on AB-584 W from downtown Sundre 8 min (9.7 km) to MountainAire Road - Range Rd 63 

Continue south and west on MountainAire Road  for 1 h 2 min (45.4 km) to Forestry Trunk Rd/AB-40 S

Turn left onto Forestry Trunk Rd / AB-40 S for 5 min (3.1 km) 

Turn right and drive 8 min (4.6 km). Destination will be on the right
