Hello All!

As an alternative to the Harvie Passage Throwdown that we couldn't hold earlier this summer, we would like you to join us on a float down the Bow. We are using this trip as an opportunity to pick up some debris as we go (we have a raft for this) and come together as a boating community and give back a little to the river that has been such an integral part of being a kayaker in Calgary. We are just sorting out a few things for the Bow River Clean up, and are hoping that you all can join us in helping out.

The 2013 AFKA / World Kayak Sundre Paddlefest Hometown Throwdown will be held on the Upper Red Deer River (S-Bends area) on July 27 / 2013. This event will be held in conjunction with the Sundre Whitewater Paddlefest.

The third stop in the Ninja Invitational Series will be in Jasper.  The whitewater is class III-IV and cranking down the canyon.  The water is rougher and it will test everyone thoroughly.  One coach per five athletes will be provided and there’s a good chance that the ratios will be even better than that.
