Rocky Polo TournamentÂ
SATURDAY, MARCH 7th - This is the ACPA (Alberta Canoe Polo Assoc.) AGM and post-meeting Friendly Polo Tourney ..... AND IT'S HAPPENING IN ROCKY MOUNTAIN HOUSE!! YES ... the meeting that was originally going to be in Calgary got moved to the Credit Union Coop Aquatic Centre. The AGM is upstairs at CUCAC from 1-5pm. We will then take some time to set up the polo nets and get the polo equipment from the ACPA trailer onto the deck. We will then start playing a fun tourney at 6. All cleaned up and off deck by 8:30. ** Please have our young polo players wear a synthetic shirt that covers the shoulder - polo rulesÂ
FAMILIES - The meeting is a great opportunity to learn more about the canoe polo scene in Alberta but also nationally as well. Plus, it will be wonderful to have extra hands on deck moving gear and helping set up the lines for the polo nets, etc ... The KYD kids are going to have a blast because they will get to try REAL polo gear and attire out and play with some of our country's elite polo athletes. SUPER FUN.
Understandable if you cannot make the AGM but hopefully you and your young paddler(s) can join us for some polo games!!
