AWA Whitewater Kayak Instructor/Coach
The Alberta Whitewater Association and member Clubs are looking for Club Instructor/Coaches for the 2015 season. Come be a part of this exciting Team!
We need staff to work in Pincher Creek/Crownest Pass, Banff/Canmore, Calgary, Sundre, Innisfail, Edmonton, Jasper and Grande Prairie.
Instructors will possess certifications in NCCP River Instructor 2, First Aid and CPR, Swiftwater Rescue and a Drivers License. Local and provincial travel is required.
Coaches will have the qualifications above plus experience in slalom racing, canoe polo, and/or freestyle competition. Working with youth, developing and promoting programs and logistical management are an asset.
Instructors rate of pay - $16.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience.Coaches rate of pay $18.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
Flexible schedule working around program needs including evenings and weekends is required. Average work week of 30 - 40 hours can be expected.
