Harvie Open

Harvie Passage Fall Classic Sep 23-24

Alberta Playboaters League presents in partnership with Alberta Slalom Canoe and Kayak, this years Harvie Passage Fall Classic. This is our last event of the season and after an awesome year packed with freestyle, we are excited to get together one last time and surf some waves. There will of course be lots of races as well, so come on out for some fun competition. 

 

Kanfest santa Claws

KanFest August 11-13

KanFest is back for 2023! All of the crucial pieces will be in place; Paddling, fun competition, clinics, ball race and party! The Alberta Playboaters League is supporting by running the freestyle competition and AQ Outdoors is supporting by offering a freestyle basics clinic. 

 

Kalob Grady Camp

Freestyle Development Camps Dates to come

Canadian Team Coach, Kalob Grady, is coming west again this year! He will be running a youth development camp during the days and will be offering evening sessions for adults. This program was hugely popular with the kids last year, and everyone was very impressed with his concise, detailed coaching and spot-on feedback. Whether you are looking to improve your flat spin, or your trying to figure out how the heck to finish a tricky-woo, this is the time! Check back for registration.

Brierlies 24-25

Alberta Playboaters League and Alberta Slalom Canoe and Kayak are pulling together another last minute event. This time over at the Brierlies. This will be the 2nd stop for what is turning into a new series of freestyle events in Alberta. We want to conitinue to build momentum and shape a playboating circuit that can be repeated in the coming years.
