In June 2013, southern Alberta experienced a devastating flood event that washed out Alberta's whitewater facilities including Canoe Meadows on the Kananaskis River, Harvie Passage on the Bow River and Boulder Run on the Oldman River. The AWA has been working with government and other paddling partners to rebuild the facilities that were lost and to improve their flood resiliency and whitewater features. Attached are the January 2014 updates on the AWA's plan forward.
