Waterwerks Kayak Club is hosting an Alberta Summer Games Time Trials for anyone interested on March 6 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at the Acadia Pool in Calgary. Everyone is encouraged to attend this event to qualify for the Alberta Summer Games. The cost to participate is a $0 but you must be a registered AWA member.

The AWA's Time Trials events are a provincially standardized race against the clock that combines the maneuvering of slalom kayaking and the ball handling of canoe polo. Athletes can enter in any Time Trials event as many times as they want to set their personal best time. Practise makes perfect, so please try again if at first you do not succeed. The best times for males and females in the Pre-Cadets, Cadets and Juniors will be used to select the 8 person team from each Zone to go to the Games in Lethbridge from July 23-26.
