Campground booking
The AWA will have the heavy machinery in the river for 7 days from May 5 - 9 and 11-13 to fix the river features, finish the middle section of the Riverwalk and tune the whitewater for the 2015 season. Check the TransAlta website for times when the water will be released.
Canoe Meadows campground opens for the season.
The Canoe Meadows campground will be closed for the season from October 13, 2015 to May 1, 2016. The kitchen shelter is available for special bookings with firewood as a warm up shelter for kayak camps or paddling groups. Bookings for the 2016 season will open on February 15, 2016.
Please note that Alberta Parks has scheduled a $3.00/site/night increase for 2016.
