We will be hosting the 2024 Leadership Symposium April 26-28 at Canoe Meadows, Kananaskis.
βTo connect and inspire Whitewater Kayak Instructors from across Canada. Through collaboration, discussion, and experimentation, participants will develop their coaching practices and grow connections with a professional and motivated community of instructors providing support and progression to eager students.β
The Symposium counts towards your NCCP Certification Professional Development points.
NCCP Leader 2 / Instructor 2 Kayak Course - Run by AQ Outdoors

This Pool and Pake course will train you to be a Pool Instructor and Lake Instructor. The pool instructor portion does not have an evaluation. The Lake Instructor requires an Evaluation with live students following the training course.

Building on the success of 2022, we will host the annual Leadership Symposium on a weekend in 2023 in order to catch more volunteer leaders and instructors. Safety and Welcoming will be the theme of the event.

Cost: $100 ; $50 for full-time club instructors ; $0 for Learning Facilitators. Camping at Canoe Meadows will be available free for participants.
