1. I am aware that I am responsible for my own safety both on and off the water. I am capable of self-rescuing in class II moving water and I am a competent class II white water paddler.
2. I understand that for the peer led kayak runs, I will not be allowed to join unless I have all of the following equipment: kayak, paddle, PFD, helmet, two stern flotation bags, spray skirt. (First aid / survival kit also recommended)
3. I understand that due to Covid-19, social distancing measures may still be in effect. I will be required to bring a mask in a waterproof bag for shuttling. Any driver or passenger has the right to ask all other vehicle occupants to wear a mask.
4. I understand that if I develop any symptoms of Covid-19 or if any of my close contacts test positive for Covid-19, then I cannot attend the event.
