Harvie Passage Open 2024

Slalom, Freestyle, Kayak Cross & SUP

The Harvie Open is being held at Harvie Passage on the Bow River. The event brings together a broad group of whitewater kayak, canoe and SUP enthusiasts and their families.

• from novice to international medal winners
• competing in  slalom and freestyle at both the novice and advanced levels
• paddlers from 8 to 68 years of age.  

This will be a keep-it-simple kind of event and we really appreciate people's race/judging support 

Harvie Passage is the perfect family friendly venue for this event easy access to the slalom race course and freestyle waves, walking paths and numerous attractions nearby. 

REGISTRATION CLOSES Wednesday May 22nd AT NOON

Saturday

Evening - Course construction (day before to set up gates+numbers and  leave the gates aside, so on Sunday we just need to move them in the right place). 

Sunday

8am Course Set up (Just move the gates)
8.45am Competitors/Officials meeting

9:30 to 12.00 – Slalom Race ( 2.5hrs) (Full course, 1 easy course for everyone - same as last year)

12:30 to 2:30 Freestyle (2hrs)

Changeover to Inflatable gates (during Freestyle) + Lunch break (1hr)

3.30pm to 5pm Kayak Cross (90min)

5 pm to 6.30pm SUP ( 90min)

7pm Awards
