All young paddlers and the Zone teams are encouraged to attend this pre-competition camp to improve skills and learn more from our coaches. Cost is $120 and includes camping, meals, coaching and transportation for the 3 days. We will be based at the AWA's scenic Canoe Meadows Campground on the Kananaskis River with a great paddling site close at hand and canoe polo pitches closeby.

This camp will start on Sunday night, July 10 and will include supper that night and meals for 3 days, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, along with breakfast on Thursday morning, July 14.
Camping will be in the Alberta Whitewater Association's group campground at Canoe Meadows. Meals will be provided on site.
Training sessions during the camp will include Canoe Polo skills and tactical strategies, slalom skills for K1, C1 and C2 and balancing and paddling downriver kayaks on flatwater. We will also be doing some river runs and playboating on the Kananaskis River for anyone who is ready for it.
Our team of certified Instructors and Coaches will include your Zone Coaches and other invited Coaches from the different disciplines involved in the Games.
Transportation will be arranged to move all participants to Leduc for the Check In and Opening Ceremonies on Thursday. . If your child is not participating at the ASG then you can arrange to pick them up at the Canoe Meadows Campground at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 14th.
Parents and families are welcome to camp out with us and participate in the meal plan for a small fee.
