We have moved the Paddlefest to the Forest Reserve and we are using one of the campgrounds that the paddling groups have used for years - the Cache Hill Campsite. The Cache Hill campsite is located 38 kms from Sundre on the Red Deer River Road and 6 km west of the Red Deer River Ranch. We will bring in toilets, potable water, tents and tarps so that we are well equipped for the gathering.
And of course we will have all sorts of great paddling, good meals, excellent instruction and the chance to enjoy the upper Red Deer River together. The meal package includes 2 hot breakfasts and 1 delicious supper. Alberta Slalom Canoe Kayak is hosting an Alberta Cup Slalom Race #3 on Sunday with a clinic and practise on Saturday. Â
