The Kananaskis Open will be a weekend long event with whitewater competitions and a festival vibe at Canoe Meadows on the Kananaskis River. There will be coached practice for all competitors, spectators attend free! Not paddling? Consider signing up to volunteer and attending the slalom officials workshop.

There will be free workshops for all competitors, spectators attend free! Not paddling? Consider signing up to volunteer and attending the slalom officials workshop. There will be no on-site registration at the event, registration closes 11:59pm Thursday May 26th.

We will have a morning of clinics in the sports of Canoe Polo, Canoe Slalom & Freestyle. Following a catered lunch we will have competitive events.

Alberta Slalom Canoe Kayak & Alberta Playboater's League would like to invite you all out next Saturday, Sept. 25th for our final whitewater event of the year, the Harvie Passage Fall Classic! We'll have a slalom race open to canoe, kayaks, and SUPs, as well as a freestyle event in the afternoon. All vessels are welcome. Race for fun, or come volunteer to help make this event happen.
